Frequently
Asked Questions
Treat
your guests to a fabulous time on the River Lady. The upper deck offers
the perfect atmosphere for sipping champagne or enjoying a memorable dinner.
You'll find the scenery breathtaking. We often get questions regarding
a variety of topics. Here on this page, we try to answer the questions
that are most frequently asked. If we haven't answered your questions,
feel free to contact us!
What if it
rains?
No problem. River
Lady seating is fully enclosed so she sails rain or shine.
Will I get
seasick?
It's very unlikely
because the River Lady sails in the calm waters of Barnegat Bay and Toms
River. Additionally, the River Lady is large and stable; therefore, in
most cases, you can hardly feel the ship moving.
Do you have
tables for two?
No. River Lady
features cabaret style seating and the majority of tables seat six to
eight guests.
Can someone
using a wheel chair get aboard?
This
question is best answered by speaking directly with the Captain prior
to purchasing tickets to discuss your specific needs. With advance notice,
every season we have many people using standard size
wheel chairs aboard with minimal assistance needed by the Captain or crew.
Please don't hesitate to call with questions.
When is the
Office Open?
Our office is open May thru September, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through
Friday and Saturday 9:00 AM to Noon. October through April hours are by
appointment.
What are
your months of operation?
Our Public Cruises
from May through September; however,
groups and charters are available April through November.
What type
of beverages do you serve?
We offer an assortment
of beer, wine, champagne and soft drinks (we have a 4 drink maximum).
Passengers under 30 should bring ID; no food or beverages may be brought
aboard any cruises.
After purchasing
tickets, can I exchange the date or cancel?
No. Once tickets
are purchased, they are not refundable or exchangeable. This includes
tickets purchased via telephone or using a credit card.
Can I just
show up?
No. Advanced
ticket purchase is required on all cruises; however, on non-meal cruises,
you may purchase tickets just prior to sailing if passenger space is available.
We suggest you call ahead to check on availability.
